There were only ever two Low-Drag’s ever made & our handbuilt Low-Drag Lindner Nocker aluminium replica pays homage to one of these two very different & uniquely designed 1960s racing E Types.

The original 12 – aluminium racing Lightweights Jaguar Cars ever made were all sold to their preferred privateer racing teams who wished to campaign in the FIA’s elevation of the GT class Manufacturers Championship for 1963.

Amazingly all 12 have survived & now reside in the hands of private collectors & rarely if ever offered for sale, sell for millions of pounds & usually by a private treaty agreement & rarely at auction with the last known sale of a Lightweight being sold by an auction by Bonhams in 2017 for over six million pounds.

Of these 12 aluminium Lightweights, there were two that became known as Low Drags & both were individually developed by two privateer race teams Lindner Nocker & Lumsdpaen Sargent both being quite different in their designs for their 1964 racing campaigns.
